FEMA Assistance for Businesses
In addition to residents registering with FEMA if they experienced flood damages, businesses are encouraged to do the same. Online registration is available at www.disasterassistance.gov. Scroll down to the "Apply for Assistance Immediately" Registration button and complete the form. The form is basically designed for individuals but there are a couple questions regarding business concerns. Complete to the end and you will obtain a registration number. This number is key to receiving assistance. Applying in person at one of the Help Centers is also an option. Further information will follow regarding the next step for businesses but this is the starting point.
